dejahnerra: New and a Request

Hi. I'm new to the community and PSC. I recently heard their song Two Girls on youtube and after that I was hooked. As soon as I got the money I went and bought their cd but was a little disappointed to discover that TG is the shortened version of the one I heard. Don't get me wrong the song still rocks but I was wanting the longer version. Does anyone have it or know where I can get it as an MP3? It would be greatly appreciated.:)

Wow, well first, welcome. It's nice to see a new post up in this piece.

As far as a longer version of Two Girls, I'm not quite sure what you mean. Drop a link to the Youtube version you were digging and I'll take a look. I'm at work right now or I'd search for it myself. If nothing else I can at least make you a rip of the audio from Youtube.

Also, you may be aware of it, but Dave and Jon (lead singer and bassist for PSC) are on hiatus from the band right now while they work with their former band Rustic Overtones. Check them out if you get a chance and if you like what you hear, come join us over at Rocklikewar.com.

The longer version has this in it...

One wants a lady killer
And one's dead
One wants to get all
Up in my head
One minds her business
Cause she's self-employed
One's independent
One needs help from a boy
One sees potential in a man
When he's broke
The other one's still thinking
That his band is a joke
One hits the road
Like the second you cum
The other one you wake up
When your breakfast is done

I need I need
I need two girls
If I can't have you
I need two girls
If I can't have you
One that gets jealous
When I try to be free
One that's with the fellas
Every time that I leave
I need two girls
If I can't have you

Here is the video that introduced me to the song http://youtube.com/watch?v=yqRB45EZyJY

I'll do that.:)

Hmm, the lyrics seem like the album version to me, but I'll have to check it out when I get home and back to my own PC that actually has sound. Those are the lyrics I'm used to as well so I'm not sure why they wouldn't be on your CD.

I'm not sure either. I don't understand why my cd would be the only one (that I know of anyway) that doesn't have the full version.

The longer version is on Axis III, but the shorter version is on their self-titled album.

Here's the version you're thinking of: http://uploadline.com/files/7565965/12_Two_Girls.mp3.html

(Sorry this is a few months late)

And of course that cd is so hard to find.:(

Thank you so much for this! :)

That's ok. :) I'm just glad I am finally getting the longer version. I thought no one would have it.

I only happened to get that CD because I heard them for the first time on the radio in Maine... so I went to a CD store and they were in the local music section (it was probably like four years ago).

I like the longer version sooo much more. haha

You're welcome! :)

Wow! That was a while ago.
I always seem to start liking things late.:(

I do too. :) The longer version is the only reason I went out and bought their cd. I mean I got lucky and actually like their other songs but that song was the reason. So I was a little disappointed when I discovered it was a shortened version. I wonder why they did it that way?
